Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Oxford United Soccer Club mobile and web application (the "App"), provided by Oxford United Soccer Club ("Oxford United," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

To use certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The App is intended for use by parents, guardians, coaches, and club staff managing youth soccer activities. By submitting player information or registering a minor for tryouts, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child, or that you have obtained authorization from the parent or guardian to do so. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit about your child.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;

• Harass, threaten, or harm another user, player, coach, or staff member;

• Upload content that is defamatory, infringing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;

• Attempt to access data or features you are not authorized to access;

• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, security, or functionality;

• Use the App's messaging features to send unsolicited or commercial communications.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as messages, photos, and registration information). By submitting content, you grant Oxford United a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content within the App for the purpose of operating club activities, including team management, communications, and gallery features. Club administrators may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms.

Photos and videos uploaded by club administrators remain the property of the club or the submitting party, and may be displayed publicly in the gallery and on the homepage unless restricted by the club.

The App's shop allows you to purchase club merchandise and other items. All payments are processed by Square, our third-party payment provider. By making a purchase, you agree to Square's terms of service and privacy policy. Prices, availability, and shipping fees are displayed at checkout and may change without notice.

Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If an order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you and process a refund. For questions about a purchase or to request a refund, contact us using the details below. Refund eligibility is determined at the club's discretion in accordance with applicable law.

Participation in soccer, training, tryouts, and related activities involves inherent physical risks, including the risk of injury. The App provides scheduling and organizational tools but does not guarantee the safety of any activity. You are responsible for assessing whether participation is appropriate for you or your child and for ensuring proper preparation and equipment. Oxford United is not liable for injuries arising from participation in club activities.

The App integrates with third-party services, including Square, TeamSnap, and Google. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these services, and your use of them is subject to their respective terms and policies.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information or content is accurate, complete, or reliable. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Oxford United and its officers, directors, employees, coaches, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oxford United and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Effective Date" above indicates when these Terms were last revised.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be resolved in the courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, to the extent permitted by law.
