What a beautiful Thursday evening at Marsh View Park! The energy was high as our U12 Boys took to the pitch, and the team came ready to play against Holly Academy. Julian stood tall between the posts for the first half, anchoring a rock-solid defense and securing a clean sheet that set the tone for the entire match. Our attack was firing on all cylinders right from the start, with Gregory opening the scoring with a brilliant direct kick, followed quickly by a fantastic team effort as Easton set up Gregory for another highlight. The momentum just kept building, with Sotirios, Griffin, Findley, Edward, and Brycen all finding the back of the net with precision strikes. A special shout-out to Brycen, who treated the crowd to an incredible 50-meter sprint to tuck away his second goal of the day!
The second half saw Kameron take over goalkeeping duties, and he was just as impressive, keeping the Holly Academy offense completely quiet to maintain our second clean sheet of the game. The boys continued to share the ball beautifully, with Emmett, Julian, and Cole all contributing to the tally. Cole was particularly dangerous in the final stretch, finding his rhythm with multiple goals, including one perfectly placed shot assisted by Julian. It was a true team performance from start to finish, showcasing great chemistry and focus as U12 Boys (14) vs. Holly Academy (0) closed out a fantastic day on our home turf.
